—Kimberly Barnard, Owner of Honorary Bridesmaid

Since I was a little girl I always dreamt about wedding’s. I would spend my time sketching dresses with the hopes of going to fashion school. My path took a turn when Marketing became one of my passions graduating from Purdue. I then met my future husband and moved to Indianapolis where wedding dress sales became the next chapter of my story. Through working as a manager at one of the leading bridal studios in the Indianapolis area I realized how much I enjoyed giving every bride an experience they would remember by falling in love with the wedding dress shopping process. I was taken under the wing of an incredible business woman who taught me to take the risks. From there life got a hold of me and family became top priority as I became a mom of 3. I longed for getting back into the wedding industry while helping family and friends plan their own weddings and eventually got the courage to start on the biggest adventure I’ve taken by creating Honorary Bridesmaid. Throughout these last few years I have helped take stress off hundreds of couples, families, and friends to ensure the wedding day is exactly how they envisioned. Growing my team, who strive for the same vision Honorary Bridesmaid has become. Nothing is more satisfying than seeing everyone get to enjoy their wedding day and not stress about the smaller details.
